If you decide to order products from these subcontractors, we will provide them with the data you provided during registration, as well as additional personal data contained in the “My Account” section if you have made previous purchases. This information will be necessary to conclude and perform the contract, in particular your e-mail address, delivery address and invoicing address. The relevant subcontractor will be identified on the relevant product pages and in the appropriate notice. It is important to note that each subcontractor is responsible for its own data protection measures, and product pages may have additional or different privacy policies.

Transfer of data to service partners in accordance with Art. 6, section 1, letter bif GDPR

To ensure the operation and optimization of our website and to fulfill our contracts, we cooperate with various companies that provide services on our behalf. These include central IT service providers, our website hosts, payment and delivery service providers, equipment installers and newsletter providers. As part of our relationship, we provide these service partners with the necessary information (such as name and address) to perform specific tasks.

Some of these companies act on our behalf in the context of order processing and fulfillment. They are entitled to use the data provided only in accordance with our instructions. In such cases, we are responsible for ensuring that appropriate data security measures are in place. Together, we establish specific data security measures and regularly check their effectiveness.

The transmission of personal data to third parties for the performance of a contract implies that these third parties are responsible for the use of the data. Examples include transferring data to logistics companies or postal services to deliver goods, and transferring data to payment processors or banks providing financial services. When paying by credit card, security checks are performed by payment processors such as Liqpay and Paypal to prevent fraud.

Regarding payments, we do not collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers or bank account details. This information is sent directly to the appropriate payment systems. However, there is an exception for credit card payments – “pseudo card number”. For convenience, this pseudo card number is stored in your customer account, allowing you to only make purchases on our website from your customer account. The pseudo card number is not the same as your credit card number, and you do not have to enter it every time when making a payment.

The transfer of data to our goods suppliers cooperating with us takes place in accordance with Art. 6, section 1, letter b GDPR. As part of our services and products offered on the website, we cooperate with various subcontractors who are responsible for specific groups of goods. If you order products from these subcontractors, we provide them with the data you provided during registration and additional personal data related to your account, such as e-mail address, delivery address and invoicing address. The selection of a suitable subcontractor will be indicated on the relevant product pages and in the appropriate communication. It is important to note that each subcontractor is responsible for its own data protection measures and product pages may have additional or different privacy policies.

As part of the transfer of data to service partners, in accordance with Art. 6, section 1, letter bif GDPR, we operate on the basis of granting various service companies permission to act on our behalf in order to operate and optimize our website and to perform contracts. As part of this activity, we cooperate with companies providing services such as central IT services, website hosting, payment processing, product delivery, equipment installation and delivery of information bulletins. We provide our service partners with the necessary information (e.g. name, address) so that they can perform their tasks.

Some of these companies act on our behalf to process and fulfill orders, which means that they are only allowed to use the data provided in accordance with our instructions. For this activity, we are legally responsible for ensuring that appropriate data security measures are in place. Together, we agree on specific data security measures and regularly check their effectiveness.

If the goods you order are large and heavy, we will send them via the appropriate service provider, transport company or courier. This service provider will receive information from us, for example the email address you provided when placing your order, in order to arrange a delivery time.

Despite the requirements for external data processing, we transfer data to third parties who are themselves responsible for the use of the data in the event of contract execution. There are two cases in which such data transmission takes place:

When shipping goods, we transfer data to specific logistics companies or postal service providers in accordance with the information provided in the order.

When it comes to payment for ordered goods, data is transferred to the specific payment service provider or bank in accordance with the information provided in the order. If payment is made by credit card, the payment processor controls the transaction to prevent fraud.

When making payments, we do not collect or store information such as credit card numbers or bank account details. They are transferred directly to the appropriate payment systems. However, when paying by credit card, there is one unique solution – the “pseudo card number”. For your convenience, this pseudo-card number is stored in your customer account, allowing you to only make purchases on our website from your customer account. The pseudonym card number is not the same as your credit card number, and you do not have to enter it every time when making a payment.
